This reading was written in a process called "homiletics" where an author takes a chapter in the Bible and brings each verse content down to 10 words, and does this for all the verses in that chapter! Your Pastor might use this technique to hone his Sunday sermons! Try the technique yourself, and see if you can bring your favorite Old or New Testament chapter down to a "Bible Quick--Read"!
