Does God Really Answer Prayers?
By Kathlene R. Amerine
“Prayers are answered if we are in a relationship with Jesus Christ! Only He can give us the power to live how we know we could and should live in this earth.”
Wow!
In spiritual work, everything depends on prayer! God Himself, Who sits on His throne, is the helper of all who wait on Him. He waits for our prayers!
For answered prayer, the petitioner must have Faith. The major concern is our Faith. A Faith that holds onto the exact things it asks for, no wavering, no doubt, or fear—that is the faith we need to have for our prayers to be answered!
Faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we do not see! Faith must be specific and definite. It must be an unmistakable unqualified request for the things asked for!
It must not be vague! It must not be indefinite and shadowy. It should be a definite specific asking for and expecting that for which we ask. The Good Book of Mark Chapter 11, Verse 22 says that “Whosoever shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which He saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
The outcome? Just as the faith and the request are definite, so the answer will be definite! Faith and prayer determines what God is to do. “He shall have whatsoever he saith”. This is God’s certain answer! “He shall have”. This is future hope! The granting quality and quantity is unlimited!
If the petition to God is clear, specific, and definite, God will fill it exactly in agreement with the terms put to Him in prayer!
Faith grows by being in the Word of God. Most of all, Faith thrives in an atmosphere of prayer!
Ask yourself, “Do I really pray to God so that He hears me and answers my prayers? Do I have faith in God? Do I have “real faith” in God? Do I truly pray to God so that I get directly from God the things I ask of Him? Answers to prayers are the only surety that we have prayed aright! What marvelous power there is in prayer!
God wants to answer our prayers! Child of God, can you pray? Are your prayers being answered? If not, why not? Answered prayer is the proof of your “real praying”! The Good Book of John Chapter Fifteen, Verse 7 says, “If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.”
Proof positive, God really does answer prayers!
