Back in 1991 when my husband bought our first HP computer, I looked at that machine and backed fearfully away.
I remember saying at that time “You’ll never get me to use that machine!” I was truly intimidated with anything related to a computer.
Well, in 1999, I fell victim to “fibromyalgia”, a soft tissue muscular affliction. I hurt--all over--all the time, as if I had the “flu” day in and day out…I had to “retire” from my 20 year-career as a custom drapery fabricator…I knew that if I wanted to help ‘pay the bills’, I would have to learn to ‘communicate with our computer’!
I began slowly by using the word processor function. As I grew more comfortable with the monitor and its quirks, I learned how to get on line. I now proudly have my own web site which I want to use to connect with others, telling the story of Jeremiah Chapter 29 verse 11…”and the Lord sayeth, “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope for a future…”
I compose music, so the melodies you will hear are my own to soothe your senses. The song plays thru one time through. I hope you enjoy my music.
